Intensive Moscow's Attacks Cut Power Throughout Kyiv

Energy infrastructure targeted in the region
Ukraine's energy systems have come under escalating strikes in the past few days

Overnight, Moscow's missile and drone strikes have led to electricity outages in multiple districts of Ukraine's capital, the Ukrainian capital.

A number of civilians were hurt while residents in eastern neighborhoods were plunged into darkness and dealt with interruptions to water supplies, as stated by municipal leaders.

Simultaneously, a young boy was lost their life in a different aerial attack in the southeastern region in the southern area, based on information from area administrators.

Russian forces has increased attacks on electrical systems over the past few days, while the country's government has called for "concrete actions" from partner nations to apply pressure on Moscow.

"What is required is not symbolic gestures but strong steps - from the US, Europe and the G7 - in supplying defensive weapons and enforcing sanctions," mentioned in a public message.

Officials stated that numerous aerial vehicles and over thirty missiles struck Ukraine's energy infrastructure, labeling such strikes as "strategic and deliberate" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as temperatures become colder.

Government representatives said Russia was "inflicting a massive strike" and technical staff were laboring to fix the damage.

A barrage of missiles struck power facilities and apartment buildings in the capital.

Five out of the nine people wounded in the attacks on the capital have been taken to hospital, according to city authorities.

National leaders told reporters that Moscow was purposely seeking to destroy the national power system, with attacks already impacting gas facilities.

Officials stated technical personnel and authorities were anticipating more assaults.
